We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Tutor in Kolkata to teach Class 9–12 students following CBSE, ICSE/ISC, or competitive exam patterns (JEE/NEET). The ideal candidate possesses a strong academic background in science, clear communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex physical concepts.

Position Overview

• Role: Physics Tutor / Faculty

• Location: Kolkata (In-person / Home Tuition / Coaching Institute options available)

• Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / Contractual

• Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience (approx. ₹20,000–₹40,000 per month for full-time or hourly rates per student tier)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured physics lessons for middle or senior secondary students.

• Build a strong conceptual foundation in core topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, and optics.

• Prepare customized lesson plans, practice worksheets, and periodic tests.

• Track student performance, identify learning gaps, and provide focused remedial guidance.

• Clear board examination doubts and prepare students for competitive tests (JEE/NEET) where applicable.

• Maintain professional decorum and regular communication regarding student progress.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, or B.Tech/M.Tech. B.Ed. is a strong plus.

• Experience: 1 to 5+ years of prior tutoring or teaching experience with local curricula (CBSE/ICSE).

• Skills: Deep conceptual clarity, patience, and excellent verbal communication in English/Bengali/Hindi.

• Reliability: Strong commitment to time management and punctuality during scheduled sessions.
